PART-1

Curriculum

The degree is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in a particular area. The curriculum thus focuses both on academic subjects, such as statistics or economics, as well as practical business subjects, such as accountancy, law, management, marketing, finance, etc Eligibility: Minimum qualification XII Duration: It a three years Bachelor's degree that executes in three parts:
  • B.Com Part I – First Year
  • B.Com Part II - Second year
  • B.Com Part III - Third or Final year
After clearing all the three parts a degree of bachelor's in Commerce is awarded.

Scheme of Examination:

The number of papers and maximum marks for each paper together with the minimum marks required for a pass are shown against each subject separately.It will be necessary for a candidate to pass in theory part as well as practical part of a subject/paper,wherever prescribed.Separately,classification of successful shall be as follows: First Division 60% of the aggregate marks prescribed at (a) Part First Examination (b) part Second Examination (c) Part Third Examination taken together. Second Division 48% of the aggregate marks prescribed at (a) Part First Examination (b) part Second Examination (c) Part Third Examination taken together. All the rest will be declared to have passed the examination if they obtain a minimum pass marks in each subject viz. 36% . No division shall be awarded at the First and the Second Year Examination.
